England in final

England are set to take part in their first-ever European Championship final this weekend.

The Three Lions will face off with Italy at Wembley on Sunday, July 11th.

Gareth Southgate was able to guide England to 1st place in their group after picking up seven points from three games.

Then, despite England’s horrific record at major tournaments when past the group stage, they were one of the most dominant sides over the last three games.

Their round of 16 tie saw them notch a 2-0 victory over old foe, Germany. England then hammered Ukraine 4-0 in the quarters before picking up a 2-1 win over Denmark in just their third-ever European Championship semi-final.

England will now take part in only their second final at any major tournament, the previous time, of course, coming back in 1966.

England to make donation after Euro 2020

Italy will be no pushover, however, and are most likely favourites ahead of the final.

Regardless of the outcome at Wembley, this England squad has been one of the most memorable both on and off the pitch for many years.

And, ahead of the final, it has been revealed that the squad will donate part of their Euro 2020 prize money to NHS charities.

As per the Telegraph, England’s players will earn around £9.5m with a win on Sunday, or just under £7m should they lose. But no matter the outcome the players intend to make a sizeable donation of their winnings to the NHS.
