TS Singh Deo, who is said to be harbouring CM ambitions, has also reached Gandhi’s residence.
Though Congress never talked about a two-and-a-half-year formula in Chhattisgarh, the supporters of TS Singh Deo claim that he was promised the CM post in the last two-and-a-half years of the present government.
The Baghel government has completed two-and-a-half years in office in June. The CM has rubbished talks of a rotational chief minister formula for the state.

Singh Deo is believed to have conveyed his feelings to the party high command, and set a timeline of two months to resolve the matter.
Baghel in his stint as Chhattisgarh CM has built a reputation through his performance and clean image.
Singh Deo too has an image of a ‘good honest leader,’ and has been entrusted with party work over the past few years. He was the head of the manifesto committee for the assembly polls held in the December 2018 that Congress won with a thumping majority.
Then-state Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel was made the chief minister following Congress’ victory.
